At a time when the implementation of the Green Deal is at a crossroads, young people need to feel empowered.
Their future is at stake, therefore, this project aim to provide them with more opportunities to learn, act, and engage others on climate and green initiatives.
Through Youth Green Compass we want to:
prepare young citizens to be able to take part in green initiatives that aim to create sustainable cities, prevent climate change, and contribute to more conscious societies towards sustainable development.
create tangible materials, focusing on sustainability, environment and the well-being of the citizens, in order to help young citizens to make more conscious choices everyday.
enforce young citizens’ skills to be able to participate in different types of initiatives and activities by providing them with the necessary knowledge and space to develop green initiatives and continue their involvement with the help of experienced organizations.
create an educational board game to incorporate the developed knowledge of green city and active citizenship comprehensively and to support the target audience’s better understanding.
